Can i get a scholarship from the University of washington if i am OOS?

Unlike. Even private scholarships want you to be a resident of WA. The Honors college has several scholarships that don’t discriminate based on your residency or need.

UW. scholarships. hehehehehehe.

Other than financial need, nope. UW gives no merit scholarships whatsoever, whether in-state or OOS. Some outside organizations will give scholarships to in-state students, but that doesn’t apply to you.

The Honors college (as seatac said) does have a few scholarships, but only for continuing students, and none of them (that I know of) are very substantial when you compare it to OOS costs.

If you want to attend, the chances of a scholarship aren’t slim: they’re zero. UW is pretty stingy.

Oh well. are they at least generous with FA to OOS students or stingy about that as well

Aren’t scholarships sort of FA?

The rest of FA isn’t really at the discretion of a particular university - it’s universal across the nation (federal aid such as grants and loans). If you are eligible for Pell or/and subsidized loans, you will get them…
