<p>W. Gowen Mitchell Endowed Scholarship - Minimum ACT of 23 or SAT of 1050. A one-page typed narrative statement describing financial need is required.</p>

<p>Does the scholarships say anything about the student needing to be an AL resident?</p>

<p>Not on those two! Alabama is my dream school but the only way I can go there is if I get scholarships, hopefully I can get these two. Thank you!</p>
<p>W. Gowen Mitchell is to AL residents only. I’m applying too. These scholarships are very closed to AL residents or descendants. There aren’t a lot of options.</p>
<p>Try the Graham Family Endowed Scholarship or the Elizabeth Coleman Memorial Scholarship.</p>
