I wasn't able to get too many scholarships out of high school. But I'm doing quite well in college so far. I've searched google, fastweb, and that stuff for scholarships, and couldn't find anything on scholarships for students already in college, except for transfer students. Anyone know any good places to look, or do they simply not offer a lot of them?

Talk to the advisor for your department. I get literally bombarded with "X scholarship deadline approaching!" emails from mine.

I would start looking at your college. My college awards more scholarships to returning students than to incoming freshmen.

There are probably a lot of scholarships specific to your school. The only problem that I faced is that it seems that most scholarships are for either "incoming freshman only" or "require junior or senior standing." Uh, what about sophomores? Lol. Oh well. Good luck.

D and I are having a hard time finding scholarships for soph yr in college too. Good Luck and I'll post any I find

I'm of course doing the universities scholarship application. I had a 4.0 for the first semester, so hopefully I can get at least a $1,000 or so out of that. More would be great.

If I knew my dad would lose his job when I picked my college, I'd probably be at Texas right now. It'd be substantially cheaper.

It looks like a bit more becomes available for sophomores looking for scholarships for their last 2 years.
