<p>DD is thinking of switching her declared major (since you can only have ONE at the pre-freshman stage, as opposed to the Double Major she is considering)…and it dawns on me that she should change her Declared Major PRIOR to submitting the Scholarships Application (which is on today’s to-do list…</p>
<p>At this point, it doesn’t matter. As long as your D has selected her major by Dec, any other scholarships will depend on her major. It doesn’t matter the timing of the scholarship app.</p>
<p>In Dec/Jan, depts THEN look over and decide who gets what.</p>
<p>That said, a student with a NMF or Presidential, will not likely get a dept scholarship UNLESS in Engineering, Art, Music or some other talent-based major.</p>
