I tried researching about NYU scholarships but they're so elusive!
Do you have to apply or do will they decide whether you get a scholarship?
And if this is the case, do you have to apply before November 1 to be considered for a scholarship?
I'm applying RD by the way...

And I am SO confused so if anyone can answer these questions I'd love you foooooorever. (:

Are you talking about merit aid? NYU is not the best place to go if you NEED aid of any kind. They make no promises about meeting need and merit aid is spotty and still can leave a large gap … with NYU, you better be prepared to pay your own way …

NYU is vague because it uses its very limited merit scholarships for particular students it wants.

NYU does say that some of their colleges don’t give any merit scholarships. Of the NYU colleges that do award merit, they only award some merit to the top 5% of their students. That would probably be kids who have at least an ACT 34 or equivalent SAT and high GPA.
