Scholarships: ATTN which office?

I'm a rising first year who just received a scholarship from a private company, and they need to know where to send the money. Which office should I refer them to? Not undergraduate admissions, I would assume... the College of Arts and Sciences? Dean of Students Office? Or Student Financial Services / Financial Aid Office? I'm not getting any financial aid, so I'm not sure if sending it there would make sense.

Thanks for your help!

Edit: I just realized that Student Financial Services is separate from the Financial Aid Office. Is SFS the right office, then?

Student Financial Services (Student Accounts)
P.O. Box 400204
Charlottesville, VA 22904-4204
(434) 982-6000

Call Student Accounts. Don’t be afraid.

I agree with Mech, call Student Financial Services. I am receiving scholarships and they wanted a non confidential ID number (read not SS #) which ultimately equates to your student ID number which you will get at orientation.

Next you want the scholarship provider to state that there are no restrictions on the application of the funds. If they don’t state this, when they submit the funds, the University will assume restrictions.

Last, when you go to orientation you or your parents will get an orange book called “Money Matters”. Go to page 33 and you will see a form that will serve to notify UVA of incoming monies from different sources so that they will understand how much you are required to pay directly.
The tele number is 434-982-6000
Hope that helps.

Thanks, vistany, I actually found the answer in “Money Matters” on page 21. In case anyone else needs it, it’s:

University of Virginia
Scholarship Office
P.O. Box 400204
Charlottesville, VA 22904-4204

No problem Roxy. page 21 shows the addres but I recommend youl check out the form on page 33. If your scholarships are delayed for any reason the finance office will know, by virtue of this form, who to contact about any unpaid balances.
