Hey all,
are there any scholarships for international students for the top Us? I would like to study at one, but have no chance to afford it. How are the chances to get one as a german for graduate studies?
Thank you

What's your field?
Where did you do your undergrad?
What's your undergrad GPA?
Have you done any significant things as undergrad-published/presented paper?

I am a high school senior in germany now.
My field will be something around biomedcin/chemistry/bioengeniering
So i cant say anything now about my gpas or publications.
I just want to get a glance how difficult it would be to get one...

You are heyholetsgo88, aren't you?

It depends a lot on your achievements, as I said. Just try your very best for the next four years.

Why are you worrying about this as a senior in high school? At any rate, PhD's are funded here in the US in the biomedical fields. Stipend (salary), health insurance, tuition and a few other fringe benefits are paid for by your program/PI. Internationals don't have to pay taxes (or at least not to the US) on their stipend so they make slightly more than domestic students. There are also fellowships which effectively ensure that you will have funding from an outside agency. Fellowships remove the burden from your department/PI of having one more grad student and can make the difference between having to do your thesis in your second choice lab because your first couldn't afford to take on another grad student. Worry about this stuff in four years.

me? no, i never had another nick here
which are the largest organisations who distribute scholarships?
