Hello, I just wanted to know if there are any good scholarships, financial aid for international students that don’t have us-residency or citizenship. All the one’s I’ve found on the internet require the applicant to be at least a permanent resident.
Thank You very much in advance
Right, they are scarce and I don’t personally know of any. Sometimes there are organizations of Americans of certain descent like Ukraine and they have an organization that gives scholarships for people from Ukraine to study here. That one I know exists but I don’t know the name of the organization. You would be better off finding such scholarship in your own country.
The only real funding comes from there colleges themselves here. Although a lot do not give funds for international students the very generous ones do and some do for student of very high accomplishment. The best strategy is to do your research to find colleges that might pay some of your costs.
What about your country- does it offer scholarships for its citizens?
When will you be enrolling in college? What is your SAT or ACT score? How much can your family contributor to help you each year.
there are some tuition merit scholarships for int’ls for CERTAIN schools, but your family would have to pay for the other costs…room, board, books, fees, insurance and travel.
There is no incentive for private entities here to provide scholarships for int’ls.
