Scholarships for International transfer Athletes

Hi, which division 1 soccer universities are more prompt to give financial aid (reduce the tuition) or scholarship for international transfer students?

Here is the list of all the Universities :NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Rankings - NCAA.com

I would think you need to discuss this with the coach at each school.

I think this would totally depend on the needs of a given team in a particular year.

You probably know that you need to be playing at a very high level to be recruited, and you need to have good tape to show coaches. I would think most (all?) D1 teams would have given away their scholarship money for next year at this point, so hopefully you are talking about transferring 2015-16 or later.

Look at the on-line rosters of the teams you are interested in, and see what positions they are losing to graduation in the year you will attend. Contact the coaches to make them aware of your interest. The odds probably aren’t in your favor, unless you are a truly exceptional player.

Thanks for all the replies.
I plan to transfer on 2015, I have good gpa in my university, I should contact the coach before applying to the university or just when I get accepted?

Contact the coaches as soon as possible. Scholarship money is usually allocated at least a year in advance, often a couple years. Also, even if the coach has no money left, they can often help you get admitted to schools that might otherwise be reaches.
