What schools give generous scholarships to National Hispanic scholars with excellent grades, ecs, and scores? I'm pretty sure BU gives a half-scholarship for NHS, but what others? Thank you.

In general, the same colleges that are generous with National Merit scholars are generous to NH scholars. Also, colleges that give diversity scholarships are generous with NH scholars.

Here's a link to colleges that are generous with NM scholars. If you check the colleges' web sites, you'll find that many also are generous with NH scholars (and also for National Achievement scholars): http://homepage.mac.com/l_j/secondhome/National_Merit.html

inseniarator:
Have you heard if the names of students selected for National Hispanic Scholar has come out yet?

No, but I heard it comes out sometime in October. I'm just assuming that I made because the cut is usually around 180.

thanks, After my son got his PSAT results he received a letter from Carleton saying that he will most likey be a NH Scholar, and that they give 1/2 tuition scholarships. My son is not interested in Carleton, but maybe you want to check them out.
