<p>I applied to Michigan State really late and well after the November 1st scholarship priority deadline. I applied Jan 24th and was accepted Feb 2nd. I got my acceptance letter a few days later. There was no notification of a scholarship or anything of the sort. I was wondering if MSU notifies students of reception of one on their acceptance letter or on a later date. On the MSU financial aid and scholarship website, there is a list of OOS scholarships available. One that stood out to me on the list is a scholarship for students from Pittsburgh. I was wondering if this scholarship was only given once a student enrolls or upon notification of acceptance. Thanks. Go Spartans.</p>
<p>I think it depends. Generally you have to wait to hear back from scholarships. There is no way to know for sure unless you talk directly to the Fin Aid office or the organization/institution hosting the scholarship, sorry I can’t help you more.</p>
<p>I called MSU Office of Admissions today. The extremely nice representative informed me that certain merit scholarships will be sent out in April. To those worried about applying after the November 1st priority deadline, he informed me that there are still scholarship funds available. Go Green. :)</p>
