I know that scholarships are hard to get for a transfer, but there has to be some out there. Can anyone help me with schools who give good merit aid to transfers (half to full tuition)? Also any outside scholarships would be useful too (the only thing I know of is PTK, but I'm not in a community college).

Any help would be awesome, because I'm not sure where to look.

Hi....I need the same information. I want to transfer to an top college but can't afford it. Can someone please respond? What schools have good transfer aid? Do any colleges have spring semester transfer aid?

Not a transfer student, but I was thinking of becoming one for a while...

I haven't seen many private scholarships. However, I was looking into school sponsored scholarships. Although few were advertised as "transfer student" ones, I saw many from specific departments for students in their programs. For most of those, you had to be a junior or senior. I would've just applied to those right away upon transferring.

I couldn't find anything about merit aid on either the bates or grinnel websites. I found stuff about need based financial aid for bates, but that's not merit aid. On the Grinnel website (like the Bates one) I couldn't find anything about merit aid for transfer students either. I did find stuff for international students, but nothing about transfer students specifically and what was there for them.

I'm not sure exactly what either school does have for transfers because it never says they don't give merit aid, but I'm not sure.

If anyone could clear that up, that'd be great.

Also, still looking for more schools with transfer scholarships, and it seems others are too. So, can anyone help?
