Hello, I am currently a junior in high school in Illinois and I am very interested in attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Unfortunately, both of my parents are unemployed, so money is kind of a big problem when it comes to colleges. I was wondering what types of scholarships I could get from UNL with my scores. My ACT score is a 33, my GPA is a 3.63. I am ranked 23 out of about 520. I am not a National Merit finalist and I have a ton of extra circulars.

Have you looked on their website for their info about scholarships?

Anyway…I doubt you’d get a free ride. You may get a partial scholarship. How would you pay the rest of the costs?

Hi there. I’m a current student at UNL and I’m also a campus tour guide. With those scores you should be able to qualify for a scholarship that would give you in state tuition. I would suggest you contact our admissions office and the office of scholarships and financial aid. They will be able to tell you what you can get to help with tuition.
