Hi there,

I was wondering when we would know if we had qualified for scholarships? Is it supposed to come with the acceptance letter? I got into their honors program (got the letter today), so does that make any difference?

thanks!

bump
seriously? no one knows?

My S’s scholarship notifications came with the acceptance letter. Everyone on the 2014 EA thread had it come with the acceptance.

So if you didn’t get anything with your letter, that is probably the answer.

The exception is the Adams scholarship if you are a MA resident, IIRC that was separate.

I think the scholarship notifications might come with acceptance for out of state students?

I applied early last year and got into ComCol but wasn’t notified of my Dean’s scholarship until later, I believe.

Well I applied in-state. I don’t think I qualified for *any * merit scholarships, which is surprising since I’m a good student. I’m guessing UMass is really low on funds?

D was accepted to engineering with honors program, but no mention of scholarship yet. According to the web site, COE announces scholarships after acceptance letters go out. Wondering if any other engineers from Mass saw any merit scholarship announcements yet? John and Abigail Adams is nice, but only covers tuition, not fees where the bulk of the cost is itemized.

UMass has sent out acceptances and financial aid packages to prospective students. Does that mean that all merit aid has also gone out to the class of 2014? I remember reading about OOS students that were offered merit upon acceptance, but I haven’t heard much about local top-notch students receiving merit offers from UMass.
