Scholarships in College

Is it possible to apply for general scholarships while already in a college/university?
I've browsed the options at my university, and they all are for incoming freshman.

Sorry if this has been asked before or seems like a silly question, I'm really not sure.

It will depend on the school. Many schools offer scholarships for both incoming freshmen and for continuing students. However they tend to offer more numerous and more generous scholarships to attract freshmen. Continuing scholarships are often departmental scholarships relating to a specific major. Your school should have that information available somewhere.

Are you talking about scholarships from the school itself or outside opportunities? Often the department webpages will describe the smaller scholarships they award annually. The FA office or your advisor should be able to direct you to a listing of some outside awards if it doesn’t come up on a search of the school’s website. Of course, you could also search other school websites if yours doesn’t have many listed.

The scholarships for incoming freshmen aren’t available for you.

However, look at your dept major for scholarships for current students.
