Of course my daughter is writing to inquire, but in the meantime i figured I would tap into your general knowledge and experience, here at CC. If a scholarship offer from a school is yearly, is that usually indicated? She got an offer from a school and the total amount is listed for the 2021-2022 year, but it doesn’t say anything further than that. I was happy with the offer but when she sent the actual letter along to me, I grew a little concerned that it didn’t indicate it was renewable.
I found that when you log in to the financial aid portal or scour the school’s website the information relating to the duration of the scholarship is somewhere. She can also email the financial aid office to ask if it’s renewable.
Thanks for the tip. I was looking at the actual pdf which gave the details of the award. Apparently it says on the site that awards are “renewable , contingent on good academic standing”
I think I will make sure to have her get clarification and a direct answer in writing.

I think that is a good plan. Ours all stated directly on the pdf (or paper notification) whether or not the award is renewable and on what conditions.
