Scholarships replace each other?

<p>I recently received $14,000 from national buckeye and trustees scholarship. I also applied to Morrill and am out of state. The Morrill scholarship says that it “replaces all other university merit scholarships”. The Prominence is equivalent to value of in-state and non resident surcharges, so I was wondering if I get that will it replace the $14,000 even if it is smaller than $14,000? The instate tuition is around $10,000 and I don’t know how much the “non resident surcharge” is but is the Prominence more than $14,000? Otherwise isn’t it counterproductive to have it replace the $14,000 if it is a lesser amount?</p>

<p>Non resident tuition is $25k+, so right now you would still owe $11k for tuition. The Morrill would cover the full $25k.</p>
