<p>i am a grad student this year and i was presently surprised at how accommodating u of c was. stats show that 90% of students received some money (even if it was just 1k). i don't know if it's diff for undergrads</p>

<p>basically, most schools in the 10-20 range use the undergrad scholarships to woo students from HYPS, so consider that level, and you'll understand that such merit scholarships are extremely competitive</p>
