Just curious, has UT sent out the majority of their scholarships yet? A lot of my friends got scholarship money with their acceptances but they were engineering honors so I think they do departmental scholarships differently, maybe? But anyways, right now my deciding factor for UT is based on how much money they give me, if any at all.
So at least for merit based scholarships (for apply texas?), have they sent them all out yet? My bealonghorn says they send them out end of march to early may... but if I wait till then It'll be too late.
Any advice would help!
Thanks,
BTW I got into Health Science Honors in CNS, if it makes any difference.

Call the Scholarship office. Provide them your competing offers. Sometimes they will make you a matching offer. Your chances might be better than most since you are in Honors.

Has anyone ever successfully done this? My D is Plan II but her second choice school has offered her a full ride. So far UT has offered nothing but loans.

I too would like to know. S has full ride at one OOS university and about a 3/4 ride at another state university that’s ranked somewhat below UT, but not much, in engineering. Would any of this even matter to UT, scholarship-wise? UT has never been overly generous and it seems they are even less so now.
