Hello,

I'll be a senior in high school and I'm wondering what my chances are of receiving significant merit-based financial aid from Boulder.

Here are my stats:

GPA- 3.95 unweighted, something like 4.5 weighted
ACT- 34
SAT- 2260
PSAT- 228 (National Merit Scholar)

I have plenty of EC's.

Thanks!

I’m almost certain you’ll get a scholarship. I graduated HS this year and I’m starting at Boulder in a few months. I had a lower SAT score and GPA than you (I think 2100 and 3.75 unweighted respectively), and I got a Chancellor’s Scholarship ($5,000/year). Good luck!

My son (CO resident) had similar stats and was offered a few thousand plus a few thousand more in “resume worthy” work study. He applied to the school of engineering.

I’m under the impression that CU does not offer huge scholarships for out of state students (as opposed to some places where you can bring the cost down to in-state), but hopefully another poster will know more.
