<p>My Dad called UA’s Scholarship office and the lady said they don’t match scholarships?! Who should I speak to about this? Who’s in charge of handling scholarships?</p>

<p>as far as i know…no school HAS to match scholarships… some schools MIGHT,</p>

<p>And, sometimes it depends on:</p>
<p>1) What scholarship you currently have</p>
<p>2) What your stats are.</p>
<p>3) What state/region you’re from</p>
<p>4) What the ranking is of the other school with the better scholarship…and how it REALLY compares to Bama’s offer. For instance, if you have a full tuition $21k offer from Bama, and a private offers you a $35k full tuition scholarship, then they’re the same…because both are covering full tuition. </p>
<p>5) It also depends on who you speak to…only a tiny few have the authority to increase scholarships.</p>
