Scholarships

Can you see if you were awarded scholarships on your buckeye account or do you have to wait for the mail? Also, has anyone heard anything about honors/scholars program? Will you be notified if you do not get accepted to the program?

I got the enrollment fee statement today but no scholarship info yet :frowning: OOS, 2150 SAT

Someone said that the admissions office told them honors college info comes out in late march

did the scholarship information cone with your enrollment fee statement? or was this a different letter? I’ve only received the latter.

They were separate…scholarship letter came first, then enrollment a couple days later.

Does the scholarship letter usually come first? What number should I call to ask about this since we don’t have personal admissions counselor?

My scholarship letter came first. I got Maximus and National Buckeye. I’m not sure how serious their requirements to be considered are though. I’m certain that I am not in the top 3% of my class.

I only got an enrollment fee statement but no scholarship information, but I’m almost positive I should’ve qualified. What are your stats?

I’m sure I should qualify for scholarships too. 29 ACT and 3.83 GPA, top 15% of my class, but my class is really small with only 94 kids. I just wish I would get some kind of indication already. This is so nervewracking.

My son received his acceptance fee statement yesterday, but still no word of scholarship. Do you think it could still come? My son was accepted mid-November and we really thought he had the stats to get some money, 1800 SAT’s and 3.7 GPA, 4.2WGPA. great EC’s and Service. Should we be patient or call to ask? I would like to let him go here, since it is his top choice, but he needs some scholarship $$$ to do it.

Yeah, I have a 2150 SAT and a 31 ACT (both in a single sitting), 3.6 UW GPA with 8 AP classes. And I actually called an admissions counselor earlier this month and he told me i was fine for the National Buckeye (at least). There’s no way the scholarships are all done, trying not to worry here though

I have 3.85 GPA, 4.972 WGPA. Also 31 ACT and 1950 SAT. Lots of ECs and Leadership positions. I definitely qualify using their website standard. OOS so keeping my fingers crossed. Are there separate scholarships for being in honors or scholars program?

OOS- Connecticut
1960 SAT
4.1 W (4.0 scale)

I wouldn’t panic about not getting a letter yet.
I really think it’s either in the mail or they just haven’t sent all the scholarship letters out. My DS is OOS, 34 ACT,3.895 unwieghted, 8 AP’s so he should at least get the OOS buckeye and he hasn’t received a letter yet. At other schools where he’s been offered Merit Aid everyone on Collegeconfidential finds out within a couple of days of each other. It just depends how many states you are away from the school.

One state away so hopefully soon!

I’m worried because I’m IN state. Literally about an hour away from campus.

I got a letter from OSU today and I got so excited, but it was just my grades for PSEO :(

Still no word. I emailed them but they probably won’t see it until after the holidays

Is anyone else still waiting?

I’m still waiting! And no email back yet. Has anyone called them yet?

I tried to today (about something else) but it said that their office was closed due to weather conditions. Down south right now-- hard weather hit up north, I’ve heard :(
