So I missed the deadlines for scholarships like an idiot. Is there any way to get these my second year or am I screwed for 4 years?

Unfortunately there are no automatic scholarships for the second year and beyond. All scholarships at that point require an application.

Though as rrah says, you have missed the boat for IU general scholarships, some IU department/majors have scholarships for soph-jrs-seniors. Check their websites.
Also there may be local/national, non-IU scholarships you can get any year. Check with your high school guidance department and online (try fastweb.com)

We are looking into IU.

I thought the scholarships were automatic.

They are only automatic if the student applies by Nov. 1.

[Automatic Academic Scholarships: Office of Scholarships: Indiana University Bloomington](<a href=“Future Scholars: Office of Scholarships: Indiana University Bloomington”>Future Scholars: Office of Scholarships: Indiana University Bloomington).

I know that seems very early but the IU application is easy (just your transcript and SAT/ACT essentially) so students should have no problem making this happen.

Got it. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I hadn’t been looking at IU until recently, and all the other schools seem to have much later deadlines. Still planning to apply though! Thanks for the help.

I’m sorry You can always re-apply for them :)

Re: Above Post

One cannot reapply for the automatic scholarships. The deadline is clear.
