are there any merit scholarships that you are automatically considered for? i dont really want to fill out another application.

The majority of merit scholarships are awarded on the basis of the regular application. You have to complete separate applications for the Ingram, Lanier, and sportswriting scholarships.

wow...don't want to fill out another application for the possibility of $120,000+.

i doubt i will get a scholarship so i don't want to fill out an application. i really just want to get into vandy. i was just curious if i was going to be considered for anything

How many steps are there for the Ingram Scholarship? Does becoming a finalist mean you've gotten the scholarship?

Has anyone heard about the Ingram Scholarship?

I'm going down to Vandy at the end of the month! woohoo lol but I'm not sure what other steps there are after that, and I currently can't access Vanderbilt's website for some reason

Congrats looking123, I remember reading on the Ingram site that which finalists are actually selected to receive the scholarship is determined after the interviews on campus.

Good luck!

Thanks wdlan :)

this is out of date, i know but just curious, wdlan88, did you get the ingram?

i saw the list, i was curious to know if you made it.

who gets the chancellors scholarships?

i applied for chancellor's too! anyone else?

i think the chancellor's scholars have already been chosen

really? how do you know?

nope enginedriver, i didn't make the ingram.

because the interviews for the scholarships were in February

Notifications of the Chancellor's Scholarship will be given out with the admission decisions. I dont think they have an interview for it .. or do they?

oh i guess that's right. i was thinking of the Ingram scholarships.
