wait, since when does UIUC give scholarships??? i got a letter in the mail worth 16k over 4 years.. it's called the university achievement scholarship or something like that.. anyone else get it??

I got that one too.

what were yall's stats if you don't mind me asking?

It is available only to out-of-state students. A number are awarded, $4,000 a year, to highly qualified students based on class rank and test score (and what is required each year can vary). It is essentially a discount on out-of-state tuition designed to entice such students to attend even though $4,000 a year still means you pay substantially more than in-state students.

Does anyone know if I have a good chance for getting into the Honors Program now that I have received this scholarship? Have they already sent out honors information?
