Scholarships

Hey! I was wondering if you guys could point me towards any and all Auburn scholarships I might be eligible for? This may be a redundant thread since I looked at most of them on their website, but I want to make sure none have slipped me by. I definitely need all the aid (both merit/need-based) that I can get.
So, some “stats”:

 • I’m an AL resident
 • Got a 32 on the ACT the first time I took it (aiming for a 34 on the next time)
 • Hispanic (soon-to-be a National Hispanic Scholar)
 • Art History major and French major

I know I’m currently eligible for the Presidential Scholarship (full tuition + $1000 for tech), and the NHRP Scholarship ($1000 - $2000 per year, based on need), but is there anything else? I know about the Elite scholarships, so hopefully I can get my ACT up to a 34 by the next test date (September), and I think it’s rather reasonable. I do need aid to be able to afford room/board, books, etc. I qualify based on income for Free/Reduced lunch, so I should be eligible for need-based aid, if there is any?

If anyone could point me in the right direction, that’d be great!

For Fall 2015?

Sounds like you’ve checked these but http://www.auburn.edu/scholarship/undergraduate/freshman.html</a> - click on Auburn sponsored category (among others) on right. Also check the history/languages department pages as some departments also fund scholarships.

We love Auburn, but also check out Alabama and UAH as they can have higher merit awards. See also the CC - Financial Aid and Scholarships forum.

Oh, thanks, I must have missed it! I’ll be sure to check out UA and UAH, but I didn’t really like the feel of UA when I last toured campus, and UAH is way too close to home! But I shouldn’t be picky haha, I know lots of people at both that just love it, so I’ll look into those. Thanks!
