Hi, I am currently a sophomore in high school. I have an interest in not only attending the UO, but also getting an academic scholarship as well. It states, on the UO website that “Minimum 3.80 high school GPA on a 4.00 scale” is one of the three requirements to obtain the Summit scholarship, which is $36,000 throughout the four years of college.
I was just want to know how this “high school GPA on a 4.0 scale” is calculated. For example: Is freshman year included in this calculation; how about the first or second semester of senior year? Also, what does it mean by “on a 4.0 scale”.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
