I'm a 10th grade student [from this june] from india studying in jawahar navodaya vidyalaya[hope u do know about these ones under the HRD ministry].And I'm looking forward on getting into princeton at any cost.I believe I could excel academically. But in terms of other aspects such as notable awards and scholarships received by me,I'm a zero. It's pretty hard to catch up such kind things in a residential school like mine.I still have 3 years ahead for my preparation and I'm highly optimistic about it.So please give me some advice on which important scholarships and related exams I should take and what important things I should do for the overall prep.
Optimism is good, but don’t forget practicality. Princeton is insanely difficult to get into (probably less than 15 Indians get in each year), and perfect academics can be considered as a prerequisite. Apart from that, there’s no substitute for phenomenal ECs, great essays and recs, etc
