<p>Does Rice award merit scholarships to ED applicants? Do any of you guys know of any ED applicant who received merit award?</p>
<p>I know on the site, it says that all applicants are considered, but my thought is if rice already knows that you will attend their college due to the ED binding contract, they wont have to attract you with a competitive financial package.</p>
