<p>Those of you who have received academic scholarships, could you post your stats/resume? Thanks!</p>
<p>I received 3 academic scholarships: a Dean's Freshman scholarship, one from the Department of Meteorology/College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, and automatic one from acceptance to Schreyer Honors College.</p>

Extracurriculars: Heavily involved in music and lot of leadership (section leader, principal cellist, etc)- school orchestra, pit orchestra, local youth symphony, various audition-only orchestras, jazz band, quartet, etc. Also National Honor Society, Enviro-thon and Girl Scouts
Awards: Scholastic Writing Gold and Silver Keys, various "Student of the Months," National Merit Commended Student, AP Scholar</p>
<p>hey im also a meteorology major in EMS! thats exciting becuase theres only like 200 freshmen in that enitre college each year. anyway, i got the bunton-waller fellowship thing (free tuition all 4 years) </p>

<p>My D was offered a whopping $1,000 scholarship for the communication school. Almost comically they stated that she had to let them know before 4/1 when she would hear from her other schools. Now that's enticement!</p>
<p>Penn State is notoriously stingy with financial aid. So a special congratulation to all those who received substantial awards.</p>
<p>3.94 GPA/31 ACT...$1,250 scholarship...</p>
<p>4.00 gpa/1100 SAT...$375 scholarship...</p>
