Scholarships

Does UF have a scholarship like UCF's Pegasus Scholarship-- where you get a certain amount of money for grades and SAT/ACT scores?

I looked on the website and I couldn't find anything related to it.

Nope. They have something for NMF and a one scholarship called the Lombardi Scholarship which gives you $2,700 per semester and ton of other nice stuff. However, that scholarship is highly competitive and your high school must have personally nominated before February 1st.

Check out these UF scholarships:

Like above, no. The only academic-only based ones are NMF/NAS. Lombardi is academic/EC's and nomination. All other scholarships are generally minority/socioeconomic based with the best being the one for first generation minorities. Forgot the name of it. I know the engineering dept gives out scholarships based on how you do and things you are involved in, but you have to be an engineering major. They do apps for that.

Yeah, I was talking about the Florida Opportunity Scholars Program one above. That's the one I would of probably gotten but it came after I started UF. I got its predecessor, the presidential scholarship.
