I got my admissions letter a couple of days ago but got no financial aid (or at least there was no letter telling me I did)
Do I get any letter in the mail later
Oh and what do you guys think is better, Northeastern or Fordham for accounting/finance?

I called and they said that financial aid award letters would be mailed out seperately and that we should get them by mid-march.

Do you mean mid-April… since March is over? :)

Mid-April? I thought they were supposed to come by April 1st?

yes I apologize. Mid-April

That sucks…I really need/want to know how much we’re getting now.

since I can’t edit my previous post: people on the facebook page have already started saying they’ve received their letters. Apparently FA letters were mailed today, so we should have to wait until mid-April.

My son got his today.

Jamiecakes: If you don’t mind, how was the package?

Our EFC was 19k. He got a full tuition scholarship, a small grant (like 1000k) a small loan and then his NMF scholarship $2500.

I think the total was ~140k over 4 years.

Oh wow. So is he definitely going then?

I don’t qualify for the full tuition scholarships, and our EFC was recently reduced to 0. So I’m really anxious to see what they’re going to offer.

No he isn’t going. He got a full ride (tuition, room, board, stipend) at Pitt so he is going there. He loved his campus visit and the school has been very responsive but with these times, he is taking the best deal.

Good Luck!!!

Thank you, and good luck to your son!
