So my 32 ACT score qualifies me for the Presidential Scholar award. Even though I’m qualified, I’m wondering if I am actually automatically guaranteed waivered tuition. They don’t pick out students from the PS group do they? Everyone who qualifies is granted the tuition money, correct?

As far as I know, yes. However, the academic elite is very selective.

Everyone who is eligible recieves it. Same for the national merit scholarship.

As long as your weighted GPA is at least 3.5 and you have a 32, you will receive full-tuition automatically.

Talked to UA admissions via email today. The new scholarship requirements have not been decided and will be available in August. If the GPA minimum is raised that could affect things quite a bit.

Did they say when they’d be out?

August

10 char
