Does anyone know of any scholarship programs for boarding schools?the schools financial aid is not enough. I need almost EVERYTHING covered.

which boarding schools are you looking to receive a scholarship from?

oh yeah woops
Idyllwild

I don’t know anything about this school, but there seems to be a Native American Scholarship available if you fit that criteria. here is the link anyway.
[Native American Scholarship](http://www.idyllwildarts.org/academy/admission/nativeamerican.html)

Apart from that I think only FA.

aww that stinks… im asian. thanks for looking though!

you should check out interlochen too. they give out heaps of financial aid! (sorry this didn’t really help, but if you’re really hooked onto idyllwild i guess you can also appeal for more, or make a fundraiser of some sort)

Culver Academy and Kent offer merit scholarships.

Mercersburg awards full and partial merit scholarships.

If your parents make less than 75k, you get full tuition at Exeter.

Lots of schools have that policy

hmm maybe I didn’t make it clear enough that I want to apply to Idyllwild
Im an arts freak and im not gonna go to some strictly academics boarding school. If I don’t get into Idyllwild im just not going to boarding school.

Interlochen is also an arts school…

As is Walnut Hill

perhaps you should look into more art schools rather than just idyllwild? unless there’s something uniquely idiosyncratic about idyllwild…

Hi, im attending interlochen in the fall for art, and they gave me tons of scholarship money! definately check it out!

I went to Walnut Hill for four years, and if you’re looking into music, you should DEFINITELY check it out over idyllwild: NEC at Walnut Hill is unmatched by Interlochen or Idellwild (chamber music), unless you are exclusively interested in orchestra, in which case Interlochen’s daily rehearsals are a great asset. The visual art department is also phenomenal, and I know one of my friends who was a voice major took a visual art class as an elective her junior year. This rarely happens, but the school is small enough and the administration understanding enough that they will make exceptions if the situation merits it.

Regarding $, Interlochen has the most, but some Walnut Hill students are lucky enough to get sponsorship arrangements, some of which are a full ride. My advice would be apply to all 3, see where you get in, see who gives you the most $, and negotiate from there.
