Scholarships

Ok my daughters stats--31 act, 32 act superscored, 2120 sat, 2130 sat superscored, 4.25 FSU weighted gpa, Top 5% of her class, week extracurriculars. Does she have a good shot at the freshman scholarship? She will also be named a National Hispanic Scholar but I don't think that carries much weight at FSU. If the PSAT cutoff for next year stays the same or drops she will also be a National Merit Finalist. If she makes National Merit Finalist, does FSU offer any scholarship money for that?

Yes, FSU offers additional scholarships for in-state NM applicants. In general, FSU offers these scholarships for academic merit: Scholarships

I’d say she has a shot, but the numbers vary year-to-year. Apply early for the best chance.

She will receive the top scholarship. I believe it’s $9,600.00 over four years. It’s based on a GPA/Test Score combination.

Most people the last application cycle had a 4.0+ FSU GPA/29+ ACT/1920+ SAT. I’m sure your d. will get that.
