Scholarships

Are there scholarship programs for international students?
I've seen that there are financial aid for international students, but I would like to know if there are Fully scholarship programs.

Thanks

Yes, many colleges have merit based scholarships. check for example the Duke “AB Duke” or “Robertson” scholarships. These programs cover full expenses and even more and are not dependent on your citizenship. Other schools will offer scholarships which will cover all or part of the expenses. Ivy league schools however do not offer such scholarships afaik (I’ve seen your post on the harvard forum).

Edit: sorry, I did not realize this was on the MIT forum. Maybe your question was specifically for MIT scholarship?

MIT provides need-based financial aid only. If your family qualifies for full aid, then the full cost of your MIT education will be paid, but this is not merit-based in any way.

You can bring scholarships you’ve been awarded through other agencies to MIT, and they will reduce the cost of attendance.

ok, thanks.

Good Job!

Where Can I find all application forms? where you put EC’s and summer activities…
I would like to have an idea…

You should visit the websites of the colleges you intend to apply to in order to find out about their requirements. Many the colleges use the common application (www.commonapp.org), but this is not the case for MIT which has its own application. They all have space reserved for you to describe your awards, EC’s etc…
check http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/common-application/

Thanks I have downloaded all the forms to have an idea of what I should send.
I am worried about “honor” section, I have participated every year to school Olympiads, but I don’t think that they could be considered “honors”.
