Hello,
the college I am most probably going this year offered me about $44000 in grants and loans. The loan is $3000 per year and I am wondering if there is a way to cover this loan while studying, so that I can graduate debt-free.
Are there such scholarships offered?

You can make that much working a summer job, don’t sign the promissory note, don’t have the debt. Simple enough.

Im planning to do research during the summer. Wouldn’t working interfere with that?

It sounds like the research would interfere with a job to cover the $3,000.

You have been offered an incredible financial aid package, and it is not unreasonable to expect that you will contribute to your own education. If you want to graduate debt-free, get a job. If you want to do the research, get a loan.

Often when you receive an outside scholarship, the college will apply it towards the loan first. Check with your particular school.

Definitely look into outside scholarships. Also work study might be a way to cover part of the loan?
