<p>anyone who’s been notified by their teacher about winning a gold key - what did the letter say? because I think my teacher accidentally threw my letter out so I’m not sure whether or not I won anything, although I did get the Tree Award email; so does that guarantee that I’ll be getting a package in the mail from Scholastic?</p>

<p>the tree award e-mail (i’m fairly certain) guarantees that you’ll be getting a package in the mail, because my friend entered and did not receive an award, nor the tree e-mail. and if they’re coming out march 27th, then why are you guys complaining about not getting them yet?</p>

the letter said they were supposed to notify the national award winners third week of march, but did they delay that too?</p>

<p>Hey guys. I’ve got a couple questions.
I won a gold key regionally, and I was notified back in Feb. We were given an information sheet that said that national winners would be notified in the third week of March, but I’ve seen some of you saying April. Does anyone know when the real date is? Is it different for different regions?..
Also, what is RAL? What is the difference between Region-At-Large and… well, not-RAL? And which was I? As far as I can tell, a regional affiliate handled our awards.
Finally, what are the ‘award packets’ that have been referred to? Are they for nationals or for regional? I only got a little card in the mail notifying me.

<p>I am Art/RAL, and I got a national award. I wasn’t notified today though-- it’s just that colleges that can give out scholarships are given a list of winners, and then the colleges email people (which I got today)… so I guess they’ve been decided already? Congrats to everyone! :)</p>

<p>Well, I literally JUST got a little packet from my teacher that said I won a Silver Key for short story writing in the Las Vegas regionals today… a month after the awards ceremony.</p>
