<p>I wish scholastic would hurry up and post/call/email someone so I can finally breathe with relief!</p>
<p>I know! I’m dying to find out, even if finding out means coming to terms with the fact that I didn’t win anything this year. And I’m totally picking sour cream & onion Lays for my waiting snack.</p>
<p>Ok, just to set the record straight, I didn’t write about the joys of running which to some would be considered boring, but rather about 5 young women competing to become America’s next Olympians on the National Women’s Gymnastics Team, contenders for the gold. I know folks will be down on me, but I feel that scholastic needs to do a better job with their dates and notification. Don’t keep us all hanging scholastic…</p>
<p>schoolwannabe, I was only down because you kept saying the winners were already notified, which, agk, wrings my stomach out. It was nothing about you complaining about Scholastic; I’m complaining about it too!</p>
<p>so after the scholastic art and writing awards, i’m now surprised when i receive notifications for stuff.</p>
<p>Here we go, it’s a business day… Maybe they’ll at least answer the email since they’ll likely be in the office.</p>
<p>God, I just want to know so I can move on with my life. </p>
<p>And wannabe: You can read the past winner’s excerpts and summaries now on the PUSH website. Neither are angsty or whatever. I don’t think it’s a close-minded competition, I think it’s a really wonderful opportunity that they’ve given aspiring writers. At the very least they got a bunch of high school kids to stretch themselves and write fifty pages. And we don’t even have to pay a fee. So really we should all be a little more grateful, and a little less bitter.</p>
<p>Oh, and the titles are “Hail Caesar” and “Magic City”.</p>

It was an awesome dance, I hope you know. It had the Numa-Numa guy beat. Make sure to post on here if you win! So I can properly hate, um, congratulate you!</p>
<p>I kind of don’t like that they’re not posting the winners on the website. And that it’s taken like three weeks longer than normal.</p>
