I know there are other people on this board who won Scholastic, so make yourselves known :)</p>
<p>I just heard today that I won the national gold award for novel writing. Scholastic is going to help me edit and publish my book! I'm pretty much in shock right now. It hasn't really sunk in yet. </p>
<p>For any of you winners, do you know when the event in NYC is? The guy from scholastic who called me said he didn't know the exact dates.</p>
<p>Congratulations! I was about to enter it but with college apps and APs there's no way I could have finished my novel by March... so what did you write about?</p>

<p>I won silver at nationals for poetry...and I think the event in New York is on June 8th.</p>

I'm going to be out of town from June 1st to 4th, the 10th to 15th, and the 25th onward. So I was keeping my fingers crossed that it wouldn't be then. The 8th would be great...I hope that's when it is:)</p>

<p>A good friend of mine got a silver key at nationals for some vase... She's going to the thing in NY this summer, I'm jealous. lol
