I got excepted to Rutgers New Brunswick, but I was wondering when do i find out if i got into their honors program or if I received any merit aid?

same here.. same here..

u got EXCEpted and u wanna be in the honors program????? what is this world coming to? :p

;)

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

oh come on. maybe his first language isn't english and he's good at math.

anywho, merit aid comes later. or at least that's what i believe. nobody with high sat/high rank that i know has gotten ANYTHING yet.

honors program invite should have come already. I got mine for the school of environmental studies and am still waiting on the one from engineering (i meet all the criteria and no one else from my school has gotten it yet so i'm assuming that will come later). The invitation you get is just a form to fill out stating you would like an interview. After you sign up for the interview, it counts for 100% of your admission to the honors program. Good Luck!

Karen--

That's the not same process as the School of Arts and Sciences honors program. There's no interview for SAS. You should probably hear in January or February about merit aid and the SAS HP.

thanks for all the feed back. I'll just wait and see.

I just got an acceptance letter and i applied to 7 year med program....does that mean i got into that ?

If it doesn't mention the 7 yr program, I would think not.. it probably just means acceptance into the University.

sorry, i thought it would be the same process. my bad.

good luck!

rohan115 yeah I've already been accepted, but I just got an email saying that theyre reviewing ba/md apps now. we should find out mid jan / february if we get even a preliminary intervew

If I didn't apply by the priority deadline, does that mean I can't qualify for any scholarships or the honors program?

By the way, I am in-state, submitted an essay, and my SAT is 1350/2110 and my ACT is a 32.

cj_svu6, if you didn't apply by the priority deadline, (dec.1 )
you are not qualified for any of the scholarships/ honors program...
that's what I heard from the admission officer

thanks for the response

Has anyone else heard anything about the honors program?

I haven't heard back about it or aid.

i received my acceptance in mid december and about a week later got the letter about merit aid and honors program. hope that helps

We heard about the Carr scholarship, but not about the honors program. Worried.

I didn't hear anything yet...about scholarship
