<p>Summer Session. Scheduled to start next year on monday June 30th. For those who attended last year, when did you check into your dorm? We figure the saturday before.</p>
<p>Thanksgiving. Next year may be tricky. it looks like the fsu-uf game falls on that weekend. Our s may want to come home then go back down for that game. The school calendar shows no classes thursday and friday of thanksgiving week. When do most kids leave to go home. Do teachers have class on Tuesday and wednesday before thanksgiving?</p>
<p>In January the housing web site will tell you the move-in dates for Summer 2008. In the Fall, most freshmen move in on the first day housing is open (Wed, August 20 @ 9am) so they can take advantage of all the Seminole Sensation Week activities before classes begin. I believe there is some way to store your son’s less valuable stuff between the summer/fall.</p>

<p>Some teachers canceled class Thanksgiving week but others did not.
Often teachers allow a few absences without penalty for attendance grades if your son is doing fine and wants to leave early.
Most teachers are very organized and tell students in advance via their syllabus when exams and projects are due so your son should know if he could come home early without jeopardizing his grades.</p>
