<p>I am supposed to change my school and submit a leave of absence request on Cal Grant before September 2nd. I am currently enrolling in El Camino, but on Cal Grant, the school my profile has was CSU. I don't know why there was such an error, but now I'm in trouble for it. I attended ECC last year, and I am continuing to attend it this Fall as well. </p>
<p>So when I changed the school on Cal Grant for the year 2012-13, it asked me to fill in what semesters are my Leave of Absences for. To get a clearer idea, here is what it looks like:</p>
<p>So the school there used to be CSU, but I changed it to ECC. Now which boxes should I check for the LOA? If I check the top ones, it won't let me choose which term change to occur. I could check the bottom ones, but I don't think those are the right ones. This is for the year 2012-13, by the way, not 2013-14.</p>

<p>Can anyone help me? I would like to resolve this as soon as possible. Otherwise, I’ll just have to go to my school’s financial aid office again and re-explain the entire problem. :(</p>
<p>This is a confusing situation and a very, very specific question that only an expert on Cal Grants could help you with. <p>I did contact them, but they couldn’t respond effectively via email so I called them. Strangely, no one picked up the call even though it was during their business hours. I would have to ask my school’s office for help again tomorrow. I hope they know how to deal with this.</p>
<p>But if I already changed the school, is it still necessary for me to fill out the LOA boxes? It seems kinda pointless, if I already corrected the school and attended it. I hope they contacted the school already, or soon.</p>

<p>Also, there usually is someone that can help you but maybe they weren’t signed on the day you posted your question. Patience is an important thing in these situations.</p>
