school closing

This is to any of my fellow Jerseyans:

Do you know of a site where they post all the school closings and early dismissals/delayed openings? I really don't want to study for my math test so instead I am going to stay on that site pressing the refresh button over and over.

Thanks,
Karen

P.S. Wear your pajamas inside out. (Although I don't believe in these things...I love going along with them. I'm such a hypocrite.)

Does your school district // high school have a website? In most cases the district immediately posts the closings on their website. Also you can try the local news sites like this one: http://www.nbc10.com/closings/index.html

my school has a website and so does the district....they just never update it.

depending on your school, cancellations.com might have it
but OMG we dont have school tomorrow! :D
(NY)

im in NJ. i dont have school tomorrow : )

does your school have a phone number you can call that has one of those automated voice messages?

i live in upstate NY (Rochester to be exact) and since where I live theres an influx of snow plowers constantly clearing the roads, I doubt they'll cancel school for us. Does anyone live near me that can predict whether we'll have school tomorow?

the automated message won't say anything. My school is really....pathetic when it comes to snow. Last time I found out we had a delayed opening when about 10 people texted me at 5 A.M. (each one waking me up from my very peaceful sleep) telling me that it was closed. I think the only way the first person knew was because his father is on the board of ed.
