i am in a top 20 university, well, notre dame
i just wanna transfer to a more prestigious one.
it's so hard to get a gpa higher that 3.7 in a top u. so i am just wondering if the school you transfer from is a big factor???</p>

<p>its definitely considered. What do you have at Notre Dame??..and btw, your going to have to come up with a better reason for wnating to transfer than the desire to go to a school thats more “prestigious” or has a better reputatio n.</p>

<p>lalaland is right: your reason to transfer will not impress adcoms, rather it will irritate them. Also, the school from which you’re transferring is very important.</p>
