So I am stuck right now and I'm a senior in college. My two choices are going to community college and majoring in biology and transferring or going to a 4 year and majoring in bio. If I go to a community college I might get stuck there for more than two years which is what I do not want. But I do feel a little bit more comfortable at the cc. Also I am bit 100% sure about majoring in bio so what do you guys think I should do?

I hope you meant to day a Senior in HS…

You should not stay at a CC for more than 2 years full-time as more than 60 credits will usually not transfer to a 4-year university. CC is a good option for a lot of students. It can be comfort level, cost or many other reasons. If this is where you will feel most comfortable and to your best work, go for it.

Why are you concerned about getting “stuck” at a CC for more than two years? If you are proactive and work hard, you should be able to stick to a reasonable and well-thought out plan.

If you’re more comfortable going to a CC and then transferring, then that seems like a perfectly fine plan. Many students do it and are very successful.
