<p>My school claims it does not rank. This avoids the problem of ranking a 4.0 gym/journalism/theatre GPA vs 3.8 all AP/honors GPA. It also works in my favor because my unweighted GPA rank would not rank excellently. But I want to know what colleges see. When they see a school that does not rank do they think the grades on my transcript are inflated? And if it's a good college, can they just demand a rank from my school anyway?</p>
<p>I'm guessing that they put more emphasis on a GPA and your class grades than a rank. Same with my school, we have like less than 100 seniors but I would be #1 if they did class rank, but I have a very high GPA(5.02), so that's all that they'll care about.</p>
<p>D's school did not rank, did not seem to affect her, got into first choice an ivy.</p>
