Well my school doesnt have AP classes except for Art History (Not interested) for juniors so im worried that this will hurt me. Next year i will be taking 5 AP classes. So my question is will this hurt me in college admission?

5 APs in one year…you must have an awesome life haha

it shouldn’t affect you, your doing the most you can do

Your admission counselor should address this in his/her recommendation. Schools want to see if you have challenged yourself based on what is offered. If your school does not allow Juniors to take AP’s, let the colleges know that in your application and have your GC address that also. Than it willl not affect you.

Also, you can look at community colleges or some other classes to show that you are challenging yourself, if you want to be proactive.

pttbrndn, same here. I had only one AP class junior year… guess I’ll find out in a few months, when the admission decisions come out, whether not having any APs makes a difference.
