okay so my gpa is around 3.4 and I have a 28 ACT. I'm a white male at a public Ohio hs and am looking for as prestigious of a business school as possible. As of now I'm leaning toward Indiana but I'm looking for other schools to have some options. Major will be finance, possible career interest in IB, but I know how competitive it is. Cost is not much of a factor. Please help me out so I have some more choices! Thanks.

OSU and Miami Ohio are very good too.

just retook the ACT last saturday. if this could be raised to 30-31 range, would UMich be a reasonable choice, or to much of a reach?

Yea a reach, but only because of your GPA. I would say try anyways and if you really want to go there and get rejected write them a letter explaining why you want to attend UMich Business. Personally for business, I would go to Indiana anyways.

Check out University of Cincinnati. They have a FABULOUS coop program that will provide you with a lot of PAID experience. In addition, the program is growing in reputation yearly.

Also good, but not as cheap, is Bentley University in Mass.

Penn State
Temple
tOSU
Michigan State
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Lehigh
Binghamton
Indiana
Rutgers
Miami Ohio
Miami FL
Fordham
Babson
Bentley
Maryland
Northeastern
BU
UConn
Oregon
Colorado

omfg i love interpol.

Try Babson and Fordham! I'm applying there as well.

thanks for all the advice guys! and yeah i know my gpa is low and that would make umich a reach, but if i applied there i would most likely desginate my major as econ. i have heard finance/econ have essentially the same opportunities and i have been loving an econ course im taking currently. ive heard its much easier (although still very difficult) to gain acceptance to the CAS than to get into Ross.

3.4 gpa OOS will not get you into Michigan unless you had other special talents.
