School for Communication Disorders?

I'm currently a high school junior with a 3.3 GPA & around 1100 CR&M/1700 total SATs.
I have great extracurriculars and will have 6 AP classes and 4 additional honors classes by the time I graduate. I'm also in the NHS.

I'm taking my SAT again in October to boost my scores before I apply to college. I'm also taking subject tests this June and the ACT in September.

I live in NY and I'm looking at schools anywhere in the New England area, NY or PA. I want to major in Communication Disorders or Speech Pathology.

Any suggestions? Will I have trouble getting into a program?
Which schools should I look into?

*Schools I already have in mind:

SUNY New Paltz
University of Rhode Island
UMass Amherst

chance me?

Can also look at Adelphi, Hofstra, Ithaca, St Johns, Suny Buffalo, Syracuse, Temple

Buffalo and St Johns both have highly regarded programs for that major. :)

James Madison University in VA is a little out of your geographical region, but many students come down from NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, Northern VA, etc…
